Narcissistic Creativity

He likes to show off. As every good narcissist he has pictures off himself on all the walls. Mirrors in every room. He works the gym 5 days a week. Although I do not fancy the boys I understand why he does well with the ladies.

His girl at the time, a drama teacher, was asked to perform in a movie every once in a while. Joost liked to go with her to the set. Found it very intriguing. While absorbing the atmosphere he imagined himself showing off in a in lead role for 90 consecutive minutes on the big white screen. He even dared to fantasies about Hollywood. Role out the red carpet.

It was during one of these visits, while looking over the shoulder of a camera man, that he was spotted by the director. “Cut! Cut! A fifteen minute break! He you, come over!” Joost quickly turned to see who he was pointing to. Strange. No one there. “Yeah you!” “Who, me?” “Yeah you, come over here!”

While walking towards the director the man started firing questions. “Did you ever act? How about a screen test? You are just what I’m looking for in my next movie.” While flexing his muscles, the first and only thing Joost asked was: “Is there any nudity involved? Because I really don’t mind.”

I’m invited for the premiere later this year. His second movie and already a lead role as psychopath killer or something. Even thought the script probably did not ask for it, I’m pretty sure that nudity was the thing Joost brought to the set. His own creative input.
